Flowers always make people better, happier and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine to the soul.

What about the Amsterdam Flower School, flowers, people, stories at a randomly picked day on the streets of stunning Amsterdam?
A little preview below.
On a random Saturday Sukha Sofie (of the AFS) and I were strolling through Amsterdam looking for people and flowers. Asking them stories. About the name and the meaning of flowers, about the story behind. It made me so humbled of the life we live in, the city and the people that makes it so divers and unique.
It made my inspiration alive and kicking again.
The meaning of flowers is so beautiful. For example; the lotus. It is one of my favorite flowers.
The lotus is so beautiful, whose petals open one by one. But it will only grow in the mud. In order to grow and gain wisdom, first you must have the mud – the obstacles of life and it’s suffering.
The mud speaks of the common ground that humans share, no matter what our stations in life.
… Whether we have it all or we have nothing, we are all faces with the same obstacles; sadness, loss, illness, dying and death. If we are strive as human beings to gain more wisdom, more kindness, and more compassion, we must have the intention to grow as a lotus and open each petal one by one.
